Job Description
About us Booming Acres is a small business in Mundelein, IL producing mushroom growing products at reasonable prices. We moved to our current facility in November of 2022 and are currently looking to expand our small team. We are currently looking for a full time employee Monday-Friday with a start time of 9am and shifts ending around 5pm, with weekend overtime possibilities available. First shift production work is what it sounds like, working during first shift hours and producing materials. Production expectations will be given on a daily basis, some tasks will be performed each day of work, some will be slightly different from day to day. For the most part the work is repetitive but extremely easy. All of our products are produced by hand so being able to use your arms and hands well is required. Some heavy lifting of up to 50lbs is also required. You will be standing for the majority of your shift. We're a fun work place but we get our work done. We sell products for people to grow mushrooms, this position is not related to growing mushrooms, but having an interest in mushrooms is a big plus! You will not interact with customers. Listening to music is fine, watching TV or movies is fine, as long as the work is completed.
