Job Description
Description Kanza Cooperative Association is hiring a Feed Mill Intern for a paid, full-time summer internship in Pratt, Kansas. This role gives students hands-on experience in feed production, mill operations, customer service, safety, and cooperative business practices while building practical skills for a career in agriculture. Requirements What You'll Do
- Assist with daily feed mill operations, production, and customer service.
- Support feed mill staff with mixing, packaging, loading, unloading, and product handling.
- Help handle feed, grain, ingredients, and related products in a safe and efficient manner.
- Learn basic inventory practices, equipment procedures, and feed mill safety expectations.
- Participate in training, professional development, and hands-on learning opportunities.
- Work with experienced feed mill professionals to gain practical agricultural industry experience. Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a 2-year or 4-year degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Feed Science, Ag Business, or a related field.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a feed mill environment with dust, noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
