Job Description

Food Manufacturing and Quality Control (Production Cook) | Temp-to-Hire

  • $20.00 - $22.00 per Hour + Benefits, Bonus Potential & Profit Sharing
  • Are you experienced in food manufacturing, food processing, or large-batch production and looking for an opportunity to grow into a skilled production role? We're seeking a dependable, detail-oriented employee to join a family-owned food manufacturer. This is a mid-level,
  • full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity
  • with a clear path into a permanent Production Cook position, where you'll operate large steam kettles and follow recipes used to produce preserves, jellies, sauces, and other specialty products.
  • What You'll Do
  • + Train on filling, packaging, and other production stations + Learn to operate large steam-jacketed kettles + Follow recipes and production procedures precisely + Measure and weigh ingredients accurately + Monitor product quality, pH, and production specifications + Complete production records + Clean equipment and prepare for upcoming production runs + Support other departments during downtime between batches •What We're Looking For•+ Previous experience in food manufacturing, food processing, production, or large-batch preparation (strongly preferred) + Strong attention to detail + Comfortable following recipes and procedures exactly as written + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision + Reliable work ethic and positive attitude + Ability to work in a hot, humid manufacturing environment •Schedule & Benefits•+ Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM + $20.

00-$22.00 per hour

  • This role is located on the second floor of the facility and requires climbing stairs, standing for extended periods, and wearing required PPE, including steel-toed shoes and hair restraints.
