ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES STOREWIDE

1. Abide by all Red X policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook 2. Consistently and positively promote products and services at Red X. 3. Follow all safety practices and policies. 4. Arrive at all shifts, meetings and training on-time and work scheduled hours. 5. CUSTOMER SERVICE

Maintain friendly, professional demeanor, present outstanding customer service and knowledge of current sales and promotions Resolve customer concerns in a positive constructive manor Treat all customers and co-workers fairly, consistently and with respect

JOB SPECIFICS

Work closely with customers, both face to face and over the telephone; Prepare daily food items and produce simple foods such as sandwiches, salads, meals to go, etc. Accurately take customers order Cook and temp all foods before serving Use safe food handling procedures; Prep and store food according to servsafe qualifications for Platte County Health Dept. Routinely clean and maintain equipment and appliances Operate cash register, meat and cheese slicer, oven, fryer, microwave, cutting tools, scales and other deli equipment. Accurately weigh, label and packaging for selected item/items. Stock, rotate and maintain high quality of freshness and product. Follow all guidelines in the Red X Deli Policy and Procedure Manual. Take initiative to find extra tasks when scheduled duties are completed. Complete any tasks, that is moral and ethical as assigned by a member of management

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 1.

Ability to frequently lift and move up to 60 lbs throughout the shift. 2. Frequently stand, walk, squat, bend, sit, balance and rotate your body. 3. Frequently ascend and descend stairs, ladders and step stools. 4. Ability to safely use sharp cutting instruments. 5. Use of hands and feet to operate machinery such as computer keyboard, copier, department equipment and appliances
