About UsColor Me Mine will open in Bridgehampton soon and we are hiring immediately! Ideal for candidates that are going to transition from a summer job and are looking for a stable year-around position. This is a hands-on role that supports both front-of-house guest experiences and back-of-house studio operations. We're especially interested in candidates who are excited to learn ceramic processing, glazing, and kiln room operations as part of their growth within the studio. ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Front-of-House OperationsWelcome guests and provide exceptional customer serviceAssist customers with pottery painting techniques and studio processesSupport reservations, walk-in seating, and guest flowHost birthday parties, events, and group gatheringsPromote studio offerings, classes, memberships, and special eventsMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environmentCeramic Processing & Back-of-House OperationsLearn and assist with glazing customer potterySupport kiln loading and unloading procedures (training provided)Prepare ceramics for customer pickup, including sanding, finishing, and packagingOrganize completed orders and maintain processing workflowsAssist with inventory, restocking, and shipment processingHelp maintain kiln room cleanliness, organization, and safety standardsSupport overall studio operations during busy periodsQualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, food service, or a similar fast-paced environmentStrong communication and problem-solving skillsReliable, organized, and able to work independentlyPositive attitude and willingness to learn new skillsComfortable balancing customer-facing responsibilities with operational tasksAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with ceramics, pottery, or kiln operationsExperience glazing, ceramic processing, or studio production workInterest in learning kiln room operations and ceramic finishing processesSchedulePart-time position (year-around)Evening and weekend availability is requiredWe are looking for team members who can consistently work 34 shifts per weekCompensation & BenefitsTypical earnings: $20$23.00 per hour, including tip share and base hourly pay
