Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Shrimp Packer in Port Isabel, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe packaging of high-quality seafood products. This position offers an energetic environment focused on precision, safety, and teamwork. As a key contributor to our manufacturing operations, you will handle seafood packaging processes, operate industrial equipment, and uphold strict safety and quality standards. COLD STORAGE WAREHOUSE , PACKING SHRIMP
Duties Operate packaging equipment and industrial machinery to efficiently pack shrimp according to production standards and specifications Handle materials safely using proper materials handling techniques and equipment such as forklifts and conveyor systems Interpret production documents, including work orders and standard operating procedures (SOPs), to ensure accurate packaging processes Conduct mechanical troubleshooting on packaging machinery and perform basic maintenance to minimize downtime Adhere strictly to safety protocols, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards to ensure a safe working environment Assist with warehouse operations by loading, unloading, and organizing materials while following safety standards for heavy lifting and material handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, ensuring compliance with manufacturing facility requirements Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing facilities or food production environments is preferred Knowledge of packaging equipment operation and industrial troubleshooting techniques Ability to interpret manufacturing documents and follow detailed instructions accurately Mechanical knowledge related to machinery setup, operation, and troubleshooting Familiarity with safety standards in production environments, including
GMP, FDA
regulations, CGMP, and safety protocol adherence Basic math skills for measuring ingredients or parts during packaging processes Valid forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Join us in delivering top-quality seafood products while working in a lively environment that values safety, teamwork, and excellence. Pay:
$10.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
