Responsibilities:

• Must be able to hook with a non-knife hand
• Must be able to hook the chuck roll and remove the trim from the outer skin layer, which is the chuck tender, and cover is removed at the natural seam with flake fat allowed.
• Must maintain a safety conscious mind throughout the shift
• Must follow all required food safety policies and be 100% compliant with GMPs
• Must be able to handle product up to 50 lbs.
• Must maintain a sharp knife
• Familiarity with yield impact of the job

Working Conditions:

• Production setting
• Exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives
• Slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise
• Exposure to cold and dampness to hands and fingers
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Repetitive motion of upper body and extremities
• Fluctuating time schedules

Qualifications:

• Must possess the will to learn and handle large pieces of product
• A certain level of physical fitness
• Knife experience is preferred
• Ability to work 50+ hours
• Ability to work with others
