Responsibilities:

• The team member will grab the loin wing off the line with a hook.
• Manually trace PSMO (peeled side muscle on) along the backbone.
• The team member will then detach the PSMO from the ribs and butt bone.
• The PSMO will get placed on the conveyor belt for further processing.
• Detach the flap meat from the loin tail by peeling back past the vertebrae.
• Once the flap meat is detached from the loin tail, the loin wing will get placed on the belt for the sawyers.
• Must sharpen the knife and sterilize the knife and hook every 1-3 pieces.

• Exposure to cold and dampness to hands and fingers
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Repetitive motion of upper body and extremities
• Fluctuating time schedules

Qualifications:

• Must possess the will to learn and handle large pieces of product
• A certain level of physical fitness
• Knife experience is preferred
• Ability to work 50+ hours
• Ability to work with others
• Self-starter and attention to detail

Pay:

$12.00 - $22.50 per hour
