8 El Paso, TX Job Details Full-time From $10.50 an hour 13 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Referral program Qualifications Bilingual Materials handling Full Job Description The Food Processing/Pre Trabajos (Food Preparation) department is responsible for preparing, assembling, portioning, and packaging food products and supplies that are distributed to restaurant locations. This position helps ensure restaurant locations receive properly prepared products that meet company standards for quality, consistency, portion control, food safety, and presentation. The position primarily focuses on pre-work and preparation for restaurant operations, including preparing salsas, assembling kids meals, preparing party packages, portioning ingredients, and completing other production tasks assigned to support restaurant locations. Work Schedule Tuesday
  • Friday 7 am
  • 3 pm Saturday 7 am
  • 2 pm Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare different types of salsas and other food products according to company recipes, procedures, and portion standards.
Assemble and package kids meals, including all required food and non-food components. Prepare and organize party packages and catering-related items according to restaurant orders and company standards. Portion, weigh, measure, and package ingredients and products for distribution to restaurant locations. Complete daily production and preparation lists according to quantities requested by each location. Label and date products accurately according to company procedures and food-safety requirements. Verify that completed products contain the correct quantities and components before distribution. Maintain consistency in product preparation, portion sizes, packaging, and presentation. Monitor product quality and immediately report any concerns regarding ingredients, preparation, or finished products. Follow established recipes and production procedures without unauthorized substitutions or changes. Assist with inventory organization and communicate when ingredients, packaging materials, or supplies are running low. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the shift. Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, tables, containers, and other production areas as required. Follow proper food handling, temperature control, storage, sanitation, and cross-contamination prevention procedures. Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures when handling and storing products. Minimize food and packaging waste by following established portion and production standards. Assist with organizing, or preparing completed products for distribution to restaurant locations. Work cooperatively with other Production Department employees to complete daily production requirements on time. Assist with other food preparation and production duties as assigned based on the needs of the department and restaurant locations. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive food preparation and packaging tasks. Ability to safely lift and carry ingredients, containers, boxes, and supplies as required by the position. Ability to work in environments that may include refrigerated areas, food preparation areas, and varying temperatures.
Pay:
From $10.50 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
