Job Description
Pancita is a Mexican restaurant focused on the art of nixtamilization. Our goal is to share the beauty of fresh heirloom corn masa through traditional, and not so traditional, Mexican dishes. We source hyper local ingredients from local farms / foragers / fisherman. Pancita has been twice nominated for the James Beard Awards, on New York Times 25 Best Restaurants in Seattle Right Now, and named one of Seattle Mets 50 Best Restaurants. We are looking for a talented cook to join our tight knit team. The right candidate is respectful, organized, and excited to learn more about Mexican cuisine.
The position is full time Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-10:30pm. For a total of 35-40 hours a week. There are opportunities to pick up extra hours when we do events. Every shift we make family meal and everyone gets one shift drink.
Experience working saute, grill is a must. Expo experience preferred but not mandatory. WA state food handlers permitThank you for applying and we look forward to meeting you!
