Job Description
About You We are currently seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as a Production Worker at our manufacturing facility. As a Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the efficient and accurate assembly of our products. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. What Will Be Expected This is a fast-paced job that requires you to stand and work in a cold and wet environment. The temperature inside of the processing area may vary in range and can be as low as 40 degrees. As a live seafood processor, you will regularly handle and process live seafood products within the processing area(sometimes requires you to pickup fishery products from fishermen from different locations in Washington). You may rotate through multiple positions on the production line which may include duties such as packing, sorting, labeling, weighing, inspecting, sealing, cleaning, loading, and unloading seafood products. Our employees must be flexible and willing to work at any job that we need them to. The seafood product we'll be mainly processing is shellfish, most frequently crabs, geoducks and shrimps. You should not have any known shellfish allergies. Work Schedule We need people who can meet the attendance requirements which may include weekend work and overtime. You must be willing and able to work extended hours and weekends, which may include both Saturday and Sunday. Hours can extend past these times and workers are expected to work until the job is finished. What We Offer Regular full-time work year-round Consistent hours at 40+ weekly during peak and non-peak periods Growth Opportunities Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand constantly; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and climb stairs. The employee must regularly lift and or move between 25-50 lbs. and occasionally lift between 50-75 lbs. Some positions may require heavier lifting. Work Environment The employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts.
Experience and Skills:
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed Ability to lift or move 25-50 lbs. and occasionally lift 50-75 lbs. Able to work at a fast pace in a cold & wet work environment Perform other duties or production positions as assigned by supervisors/leadsJob Benefits:
Starting Pay:
$22per hour. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.Job Type:
