Our cannabis brands include Method, Fridaze, Cannaroos and Dabville currently. We are seeking a full-time employee who can integrate well with our current staff and who is enthusiastic about the marijuana industry. The processing associate would be responsible for any of the following: Trimming cannabis flower Packaging cannabis flower into joints, jars or mylar bags Packaging oil into carts, jars or syringes Organizing, labeling and packaging finished good products for shipment Responsibilities and Duties The ideal candidate would be expected to trim and prepare cannabis flower with shears for packaging. This includes removing the flower off the stalks of the plant and separating usable product and unusable waste. The employee must be able to then trim the cannabis flower thoroughly, removing all leaf and visible stems without jeopardizing the quality or shape of the product. Packagers are responsible for weighing and packaging products accurately while maintaining proper quality control. Administrative duties include adhering logo labels to jars as well as proper barcodes for state traceability. This can entail training on pick lists/pull sheets and analyzing/sorting/pulling finished good inventory. Qualifications and Skills
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Individuals applying must have/be able to:
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Trim a minimum of 120 grams per hour or pack a minimum of 160 grams per hour.
- Demonstrate attention to detail while maintaining speed and accuracy.
- Exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills.
- Work well independently, as well as with others.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation/warehouse.
- Do repetitive tasks for extended periods of time while sitting or standing including finger manipulation and wrist flexion.
- Lift up to 50lbs.
- Efficiently manage time to meet goals while consistently producing quality products.
- Take constructive criticism from their managers/supervisors to help maintain quality standards and production goals.
- Exhibit honesty and integrity.
- Individuals with weed allergies or asthma be aware that exposure to marijuana kief in this position will consistently occur.
