If you're looking for hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment, we have immediate openings available. Experience preferred, but motivated candidates are encouraged to apply! What We Offer Competitive weekly pay Weekly pay (Direct Deposit or Pay Card options) Health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance Training and on-the-job support Opportunity for overtime during peak season Fast hiring process Steady, ongoing work with growth potential Shift Information Day Shift- 8am-5:00PM Monday-Friday with weekend when needed Overtime and weekend work may be required Seasonal and year-round opportunities available Must complete a orientation before starting Job Duties Carry baskets of crab product weighing up to 50 lbs to workstations Use a mallet and anvil to remove crab meat from shells Inspect crab meat for shells, defects, and quality concerns Grade and pack product according to company standards Maintain a clean and sanitary work area Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors Qualifications / Skills Food processing or seafood industry experience preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm motions throughout the shift Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Strong attention to detail and product quality Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work effectively as part of a team Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus Why Ascend Staffing?
