Harvest Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of tasks within the Harvest Processing Department, rotating through multiple Level I positions as assigned
• Safely and efficiently remove meat from carcasses for further processing into finished sausage products
• Operate motorized knives, straight-edge knives, and other processing tools in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements
• Maintain required production line speeds while meeting quality and yield standards
• Inspect products during processing and report any quality concerns, defects, or abnormalities to team leaders or supervisors
• Promptly notify team leaders and/or maintenance personnel of equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or operational issues
• Follow all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training requirements
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and sanitation requirements at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
• Support department production goals through reliable attendance, teamwork, and flexibility in job assignments Requirements for

Harvest:

• Previous manufacturing, food production, meat processing, or industrial experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to learn multiple job functions and rotate between workstations
• Ability to safely use knives and other processing equipment
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder movements
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform continuous physical activities in a production environment
