Your Role:
Transports ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients for helath care related needs. Safely transport wheelchair-bound patients to and from scheduled destinations. Assist patients with entering and exiting the vehicle while ensuring their comfort and safety. Properly secure wheelchairs and all required safety restraints prior to transport. Provide courteous, compassionate, and professional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff. Maintain effective communication with dispatch regarding trip status, delays, schedule changes, and patient needs. Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and maneuver patients and equipment in accordance with company policy. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Valid CT Operator's License with Public Service Passenger and Student Endorsement CPR certified With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
