We pride ourselves on creating a supportive environment where each child feels comfortable and secure during their journey to and from school and activities. Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Transportation Assistant to support our drivers in safely transporting children with special needs. You will be an essential part of ensuring each child's journey is safe, comfortable, and positive. Key Responsibilities Assist drivers with the safe transport of students with special needs Provide direct supervision and create a calm, positive environment during transit Help children board and exit the vehicle safely, including proper use of seatbelts, car seats, and mobility devices Monitor and respond appropriately to students' needs and behaviors Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of all students and families Conduct vehicle safety and cleanliness inspections Assist with emergency procedures when necessary Communicate professionally with students, parents/guardians, and school staff Requirements Valid driver's license (required) High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Previous experience working with children with special needs (preferred but not required) Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanor Ability to pass background checks and drug screening Physical ability to assist children with mobility challenges Reliability, patience, and strong commitment to safety Flexibility to work split shifts (typically morning and afternoon) Working Conditions Work environment is primarily on a school bus or van Exposure to various weather conditions Physical activities include lifting, bending, and assisting students Schedule typically includes morning and afternoon shifts with possible midday breaks How to Apply Submit your resume and complete our online application at AllProAllServices.com, Forms & Docs Questions may be directed to: .
