We are seeking a responsible, observant, and caring School Bus Monitor to help ensure the safety and well-being of students during transportation to and from school. This role supports the bus driver in maintaining a safe, orderly environment and provides assistance to students, including those with special needs. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and is committed to promoting a secure and respectful atmosphere on the bus.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist students with safely boarding and exiting the bus Help students find and remain in their assigned seats Maintain order and enforce safety rules during transit Monitor and support students with special needs or additional assistance requirements Report incidents or concerns to the bus driver or transportation supervisor Assist with pre-trip and post-trip inspections as needed Communicate professionally with students, parents, and school staff Keep the bus clean and organized Attend required training sessions and staff meetings Utilize the METS Drives platform as directed Represent METS in a professional and respectful manner Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be able to obtain or currently have a Chauffer's License Ability to manage student behavior calmly and effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
