Make a Difference Every Day. Teachers Now is hiring dependable and caring Bus Aides to help provide a safe and positive transportation experience for students. If you enjoy working with children and want a flexible opportunity to support local schools, we'd love to hear from you! Schedule Choose the shift that works best for you or work both!
AM Shift:
5:15 AM•9:00
AM PM Shift:
1:45 PM•5:30 PM Report to the Central Office (64120) before each shift. Pay $125•140 per day (working both AM & PM shifts) Half-day pay for working only one shift What You'll Do Assist the bus driver in maintaining a safe, orderly, and respectful environment. Help students board and exit the bus safely. Monitor student behavior and encourage appropriate conduct during transportation. Assist students with special needs, when applicable. Communicate concerns or incidents to the bus driver and school staff. Help ensure all students arrive safely at their destinations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Experience working with children is preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Ability to remain calm and professional in a variety of situations Why Join Teachers Now?
