About the

Role:

Good Shepherd Transportation is immediately hiring compassionate, reliable, and attentive School Bus Aides to join our team in Edgewater Park, NJ. As a Bus Aide, you will ride on our yellow school buses to ensure the safety, well-being, and comfort of students during their daily transport to and from school.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist students during boarding and exiting the bus safely. Maintain a calm, secure, and positive environment on board. Ensure all students remain safely seated and buckled while the bus is in motion. Assist children with special needs or mobility accommodations as required. Communicate effectively with the driver, school staff, and parents.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Prior experience working with children is required (classroom, childcare, camp, or caretaking context).

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience as a school bus aide or monitor is highly preferred.

Location:

Must have reliable transportation to arrive on time to our bus yard in Edgewater Park, NJ.

Compensation:
