In this dual role, you will ensure the safe transportation of children as a Bus Aide and serve as a positive, engaged Counselor during afterschool program hours. Responsibilities Bus Aide Duties Supervise and ensure the safety of children during bus transportation Assist children on and off the bus in an orderly and safe manner Maintain discipline and a calm environment on the bus at all times Communicate with bus driver and program staff regarding student needs Afterschool Counselor Duties Lead and supervise children during afterschool program activities Foster a positive, structured, and nurturing environment Enforce program rules and handle behavioral situations with professionalism Act as a role model — kind, patient, and firm when necessary Requirements Previous Bus Aide experience preferred Must be kind, patient, and genuinely enjoy working with children Must be able to maintain discipline and ensure children's safety at all times Reliable, punctual, and professional Do NOT apply if you have an arrest on your record
