10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS

This is non-professional work involving responsibility in the performance of non-teaching duties through a variety of activities. Work is performed under the direct supervision of an administrator, or a senior official, in accordance with well-established procedures. Does related work as required.

TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES

Accompanies and supervises students in school activities such as recess, playgrounds, cafeteria, etc.; May assist children to maintain a normal school routine, including, but not limited to, cafeteria help and an emergency exit during evacuation drills, etc.; May perform Teacher Aide duties on a substitute basis.
