The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, and possess strong communication skills. As a Bus Attendant, you will play a vital role in creating a positive environment for students while managing their behavior and addressing any conflicts that may arise. Duties Supervise students during bus rides to ensure their safety and comfort. Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus, providing support as needed. Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a calm and respectful atmosphere. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding any concerns or incidents. Support students with special needs by adapting to their individual requirements. Monitor student interactions to prevent conflicts and promote positive relationships. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bus environment. Qualifications Experience working with children is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required. Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting the development of young learners.
