CPR Full Job Description The Baldwin-Whitehall School District Bus Attendant Job Summary:
To assist students on the school bus according the their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and or Transportation Plans Reports to and Evaluated by:
Transportation Manager and Assistant Manager Qualifications:
CPR, First Aide, and AED certifications
REQUIRED
Strong oral and written communication skills Physical health for an active environment Must have Acts 34, 114 and 151 Clearances Employer may determine such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be required for the job vacancy Workplace Excellent interpersonal skills

Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Bus Driver in helping students on and off of the bus, securing them in safety harnesses where appropriate Provide physical assistance in order to maximize the student's safety and independent functioning on the school bus Assist in transferring students between vehicles and the building at the beginning and the ending of the school day and at such other times when transportation may be needed. Inform teacher or principal of any conditions which should be checked or investigated Attend orientation and in-service workshops as directed by the administration Assist in monitoring all students as directed according to the standards and policies of the school Perform such other aide-related duties as may be determined Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the building principal
