New Start CBAS is a vibrant adult day health center dedicated to providing quality care and engaging programming for older adults. We offer a supportive, energetic workplace with a collaborative team.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Activity Assistant to help plan and lead recreational activities, engage participants, and support daily program operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, organizing, and leading group activities (music, dance, arts & crafts, games) Engage participants with warmth and patience; promote social interaction and well-being Support activity setup, cleanup, and documentation Assist with basic participant observation and reporting to supervisors Capture photos/videos of activities for program use and social media (if applicable)
Qualifications:
Bilingual in Mandarin and English preferred Cheerful, outgoing, and friendly personality with strong interpersonal skills Responsible, patient, and a team player Experience or skills in singing, dancing, visual arts, or musical instruments a plus Experience with photography/video editing and social media preferred
