About the

Activity Assistant Position:

We are looking for a kind, compassionate Activity Assistant for Memory Care to work with our team to provide excellent care and customer service for our residents. The ideal candidate is patient and reliable with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with a team of people. Prioritizing resident care and well-being is of utmost importance. This position is a fast-paced physical environment that requires efficient time management, excellent communication, and prioritizing resident and team members safety.

Some Activity Assistant Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in the development, planning, coordination, promotion and execution of resident activities.
• Actively encourage resident participation in all activities.
• Actively engage in residents' activities through personally leading activities in a positive and enthusiastic manner.
• Ensure personal compliance with all of company's policy and procedures.
• As directed, accurately and timely performance of all clerical work connected with the position.
• Provide support to community's marketing efforts through positive/friendly interaction during all property tours and telephone contact with the public.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
• Perform other duties consistent with the position as assigned by the Activities Director and Executive Director.

Some Qualifications Include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pre-employment screenings which may include Livescan Fingerprint clearance as required by government regulations, physical, drug screening and TB test.
• 1 years in Assisted Living preferred.
• Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions
