Salinas Valley Post Acute is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and compassionate Full-Time Activities Assistant to join our vibrant therapy and care team in Salinas, CA. This full-time position offers a competitive wage of $17.48 - $18.00 per hour, a robust benefits package, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our residents.

Compensation :
Salinas Valley Post Acute, Salinas, CALocation What You Will Do Plan Activities:
Assist in organizing, scheduling, and conducting daily group and individual activities.
Engage Residents:
Encourage and facilitate resident participation in social, creative, and physical events.
Provide Transport:
Accompany and assist residents safely to and from activity areas within the facility.
Document Progress:
Maintain accurate daily logs of resident attendance and individual engagement levels.
Decorate & Prepare:
Set up activity rooms, prepare supplies, and create seasonal displays for events.
What We Are Looking For Experience:
Previous experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or assisted living facility preferred.
Passion:
A genuine desire to work with elderly and rehabilitating populations.
Skills:
Strong communication, excellent organizational abilities, and a high level of enthusiasm.
Flexibility:
Ability to work occasional weekends or holidays depending on the event schedule.
Requirements:
Must pass standard background checks and drug screenings required for healthcare facilities.
