Job Description

We seek a dedicated and knowledgeable Pilates Instructor to join our team. As a Pilates Instructor, you will focus on conducting Pilates classes, emphasizing core strength, flexibility, and overall body conditioning. Your responsibilities include developing well-structured Pilates routines for various fitness levels, providing clear instructions and modifications, fostering a positive atmosphere, and ensuring a clean and safe workout environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct Pilates classes emphasizing core strength and flexibility. Develop well-structured Pilates routines for various fitness levels. Provide clear instructions, ensuring participants maintain proper form. Offer modifications and adjustments to accommodate individual needs. Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for participants. Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in Pilates and fitness. Assist in marketing and promoting Pilates classes.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES
There are no supervisory duties for this position. Must be 18 years old. Certification as a Pilates Instructor with expertise in Pilates Reformer. Previous experience teaching Pilates Reformer is preferred. Strong knowledge of Pilates principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. CPR and first aid certification within the first 90 days. Nationally accredited Pilates certification. Regularly required to lead/instruct fitness classes assigned by the supervisor. Must occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Hearing and visual acuity sufficient to perform the job's essential functions.
Travel:
Some travel between Apex Park and Recreation District facilities may be necessary.
