Program Coordinator, Swimming Instructor Parks and Recreation Department Part-Time, Saturdays 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM Up to 5 hours per week

POSITION OVERVIEW
Are you a strong swimmer with a passion for working with children? We're looking for a qualified and enthusiastic swimming instructor to lead lessons for children of all ages and skill levels. This role focuses on teaching proper swimming techniques, stroke development, essential water safety skills, and basic rescue skills. The ideal candidate will be able to accept direction, maintain discipline and respect among program participants, and build positive relationships with both children and program staff.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong swimming skills are a must! A current Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification or equivalent experience is preferred. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is preferred.
