At Country Rest Home, we are here to bring real goodness into people's lives, every day. The Activities Assistant does this by helping to plan and facilitate meaningful activities for our residents. By assisting with daily living activities and promoting social interaction, including seniors with a diverse range of needs and abilities, you will help create a valuable community for our residents.

Responsibilities include:

Implement group and one-on-one activities for 56 residents Observe and record activity participation Help to create a lively and comfortable atmostphere for residents and co-workers

Qualifications:

Strong in kindness, dignity, respect, and joy High school diploma or equivalent Long term care or senior care experience preferred Strong communication skills Familiarity with Alzheimer's and dementia care Experience working with individuals with disabilities and aging issues

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
