Job Description

Excelcare at Lewes is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Aide to support our Activities Department in providing engaging, meaningful programs for our residents. This role plays a vital part in enhancing quality of life by promoting socialization, emotional well-being, and daily engagement in a warm, resident-centered environment. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, creative, and passionate about working with seniors in a long-term care setting. Located at 301 Ocean View Blvd, Lewes

Activities Aide Responsibilities:
Facilitate group activities Encourage activity involvement and chart attendance Assist in keeping activity supplies clean and organized Assist with 1 on 1 activities, transport residents to and from activities Assist with outings and special events and other assigned duties
Activities Aide Qualifications:
Diploma or GED Creativity Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia and special needs is a plus. Ability to self-motivate Flexible schedule, occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays are required.
