Activities Assistant Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a variety of recreational activities, such as arts and crafts, exercise classes, games, and outings, that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents Collaborate with our life enrichment team to plan and coordinate special events, such as birthday celebrations, holiday parties, and community celebrations Promote socialization and interaction among residents through group activities, one-on-one interactions, and facilitated conversations Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident feedback to track program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions Communicate with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless implementation of activities and events Assist with decorating and preparing spaces for events and activities Participate in resident assessments and develop individualized activity plans to meet their unique needs and preferences
Activities Assistant Requirements:
Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail Passion for working with seniors and promoting their overall well-being
