Part time or full time Newbury Court is a distinctive retirement community, in historic Concord, committed to providing an exceptional quality of life for our residents and employees. We are seeking a Activities Assistant for our Life Enrichment Department at Rivercrest - our rehab and wellness unit at Newbury Court. This position is responsible for leading group and individual activities, which are designed to promote the physical, social, and mental health of the residents. The ideal candidate is a warm and patient person with an enthusiasm for care giving, good communication and time management skills, a positive attitude, open to trying new things and a willingness to learn. Previous long term care experience, in skilled nursing or assisted living is preferred, but we will train the right canidate.
Qualifications:
Patience, empathy and understanding Good communication skills - written and verbal A flexible schedule with ability to work Saturdays between 9am-5:30pm
Preferred:
Previous long term care experience (nursing home or assisted living)
