- Every Friday and Every other Sat/Sunday 8:30am-5:00pm MI Nursing/Restorative Center Position Summary Activities Assistant Under the direction of the Director of Activities, provides an organized program of activity and recreational programming designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interest and the physical, mental and psychological well-being of each resident.

Qualifications of a Activity Assistant 6 months or more years of experience in planning, organizing and directing enrichment activities with the elderly population in a healthcare or community setting, or holds a certified activities professional certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be comfortable working with an interdisciplinary team approach. Must be comfortable working with geriatric population.
