REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalentCPR or First Aid Certified CNA certification preferredPrior experience with senior adults with dementia and Alzheimers preferredPrior experience in planning and implementing activities and events preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

Activities assistants collaborate with other activity coordinators to schedule, plan and produce events for the residents of the institution for which they work. Specifically, these professionals make decisions about which activities might be most valuable for their audience, then plan each part of the event.
