Role:
As an Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a dynamic activities program that caters to the diverse needs and interests of our residents. Your creativity, enthusiasm, and ability to connect with others will make a significant impact on the quality of life of our residents. This is a FullTime position that requires a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and implementing a variety of activities and programs to engage residents, including physical, social, and cognitive activities Coordinate with other departments to develop programs that meet the needs of our residents, including art, music, and recreational activities Lead and facilitate activities, including exercise classes, games, and social events Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity schedules Collaborate with care staff to ensure that activities align with resident care plans and goals
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in activities or recreation desirable, but not required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Creativity and enthusiasm for planning and implementing activities
