Athletic Director & Arts/Activities Director Summary:
Chanhassen High School is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Athletics, Arts, and Activities Office. This role ensures smooth daily operations by providing essential clerical and financial support, coordinating program schedules and events, and assisting students, staff, and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in program development by helping manage schedules, events, and data collection. Maintain accurate financial records, process payments, and manage registrations and deposits.
Provide clerical support:
answer phones, greet visitors, manage communications, and update online systems. Coordinate facilities scheduling and transportation for student events and competitions. Track eligibility records, coordinate student awards, and support staff with documentation and events. Help manage daily office operations and assist in training and supporting office staff.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree in a related field preferred). Previous administrative assistant experience (experience in a school setting is desirable). Positive, welcoming personality with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with diverse groups. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; ability to quickly learn new software.
