$12.00-13.00/hour Description of the
Position:
(Purpose of the Position): Game Operations staff for athletic events.
Transferable Skills:
Facility management, business operations and functions, customer service, photography, videography, statistical analysis, data gathering and analysis, sports management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Tasks include: playing music, ball retrieval, scoreboard operations, public address announcer, set up and tear down of venues, ticket takers/sellers, and pride points attendants, statisticians, photographers, videographers, and concessions workers. Schedule management and other duties as assigned by athletic events manager, site managers, and athletic directors.
Qualifications:
(Education/Experience/Skills) Attention to detail. No experience required. General knowledge of sports is preferred but not required.
Physical and Environmental Factors:
This position requires grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, and lifting and carrying objects up to 50 lbs. to perform the essential functions. It also requires exposure to loud noise, wet or humid conditions indoors, extreme cold, as well as rare exposure to extreme heat and proximity hazards to perform the essential functions.
