Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Recreation Supervisor to join the dynamic team at Harris Park Community Center. This position will be working Monday- Friday, some Saturdays as required. Responsibilities include management and oversight of Camp Summit, School Break Camp and LSPR instructional programs. Minimum qualifications include 1. A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Parks and Recreation Administration or a related field is required; at the discretion of the Department, 6 years of direct experience may be substituted for 4 year degree; or a combination of education & experience may be considered. 2. Minimum one (1) year experience working in the field of Parks and Recreation or related field and experience in leadership preferred; and, 3. Basic first aid, CPR and AED certification required within three (3) months of date of hire. 4. A Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP) preferred.
