With Compassion Liberty Senior Living is currently seeking an experienced:
WELLNESS ASSOCIATE
Job Summary:
Assists residents with exercise protocol based on individual participant's needs, goals and/or ability levels. Assists Wellness Director with resident evaluations.
Develops relationships with residents that encourages increased participation in exercise and wellness programs.
Teaches water and land exercise classes and leads recreational exercise as directed by the wellness Director.
Instructs residents in safety orientation and procedures for use of equipment utilized independently and without staff supervision.
Responds to emergencies in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the Emergency Procedure Manual.
Assist in planning and promoting wellness programs based on needs and interests of the residents.
Encourage social engagement through group exercise.
Documents residents' attendance and participation level in wellness programs.
Attends appropriate in-service training programs.
Assists in the proper maintenance, storage, and use of the wellness supplies.
Assists with the set-up of the intern programs and special events.
Puts resident's service first, ensuring that residents receive the highest quality of service in a caring andpassionate atmosp.
Recognizes and respects individual's abilities and praises resident success in wellness programming.
Performs other job duties as directed by the Wellness Director.
Job Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent. Must have certification in accordance with regulatory agencies governing the center.
Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
Must be willing to work and cooperate well with other employees.
Must be able to problem-solve.
Must be able to work well under pressure.
Must be willing to perform various jobs.
Must care for equipment used.
Must use supplies economically.
Demonstrates neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
Wears appropriate attire in keeping with Community dress code.
Must read, know and follow personnel, department and Community policy.
