Activities Assistant - Memory Care Louisville Gardens | Louisville, OH Part-Time | Serenity Memory Care Unit Louisville Gardens is hiring a Part-Time Activities Assistant to join our Serenity Memory Care Unit ! We're looking for a positive, energetic, and compassionate person who enjoys creating meaningful moments for residents. In this role, you'll help plan and lead activities specifically designed to keep our memory care residents engaged, active, social, and connected. What You'll Do Assist with daily activities and programming for residents in the Serenity Memory Care Unit Lead games, crafts, music, social events, seasonal activities, and other engaging programs Encourage residents to participate based on their individual interests and abilities Provide one-on-one activities and interaction for residents who may not participate in group programs Help create a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment Assist with decorating and special events Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members Support the Activities Director with planning and preparing programs What We're Looking For Compassionate, patient, upbeat, and dependable Comfortable working with residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other memory-related needs Creative and enthusiastic about finding ways to engage residents Strong communication and interpersonal skills Previous activities, senior living, healthcare, or memory care experience is a plus Must be able to work as part of a team and bring a positive attitude to every shift Why Louisville Gardens?
