Join Our Team as a Part-Time Activities Assistant! Athens Health and Rehab - Athens, PA Athens Health and Rehab, a skilled nursing facility in Athens, PA, is seeking a Part-Time Activities Assistant to help bring joy, engagement, and purpose to our residents' daily lives. In this role, you'll work under the guidance of the Director of Activities to provide meaningful programs that enhance residents' emotional, recreational, and social well-being.

Shifts Available:

Part-Time Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and conducting activities that encourage entertainment, social interaction, exercise, relaxation, and creativity. Support residents with everyday activities such as writing letters, making phone calls, or registering to vote. Help with mail delivery, escorting residents to programs, caring for plants/pets, preparing newsletters, and making facility announcements. Maintain records of resident participation and progress. Provide and oversee craft supplies, encouraging residents to explore their talents.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience in long-term care or working with the elderly/disabled preferred. Must be at least 18 years old.
