Working as the Activities Assistant will allow you to contribute to that mission. Position Summary Kadima Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing (Cheswick) is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team. The Activities Assistant supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of recreational and social programs for residents. This role helps promote engagement, independence, and quality of life through both group and individualized activities while maintaining a safe and positive environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning and leading individual and group activity programs based on resident needs and interests Encourage resident participation in recreational, social, and therapeutic activities Support residents with mobility and transportation to and from activities Prepare supplies, materials, and activity spaces for programs and events Deliver mail, assist with requests, and provide resident support as needed Participate in outings, community events, and facility-based activities Assist with crafts, games, and therapeutic recreation programs Ensure resident safety during all activities and interactions Document participation and assist with required activity records Qualifications Previous experience in long-term care, recreation, or healthcare preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to safely assist and engage residents with varying needs Team-oriented and dependable What We Offer $2,000 Sign-On Bonus Same day pay Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth within the Kadima organization Comprehensive benefits package (for eligible employees) Why Kadima?
