As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a fulfilling and engaging experience for our residents, while maintaining their independence, choice, and dignity. About the
Role:
As an Activities Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include: Creating and coordinating daily events, such as games, arts, and crafts, and other recreational activities. Transporting residents to and from activities Logging activities notes related to resident participation. Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging activities experience. Communicating with participants, employees, and volunteers to ensure a seamless experience Managing logistics and operations to ensure the smooth execution of events Lifting the spirits of our residents and ensuring they enjoy their time at our community
Requirements:
High school diploma and certain certifications may be required Experience with nursing, recreational activities, event planning, or related fields may be preferred Job training and first aid/CPR training may be necessary Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
