St. Andrew's Parish Parks & Playground Commission is seeking dependable, enthusiastic Youth Sports Field Supervisors to oversee recreational athletic events and ensure a safe, organized, and positive environment for players, coaches, officials, and spectators. As the on-site representative during games and tournaments, you'll help prepare facilities, support game operations, enforce policies, respond to issues, and ensure each event runs smoothly. What You'll Do Supervise youth sports games and events Prepare fields and facilities before games Support referees, scorekeepers, coaches, and participants Monitor safety and enforce facility policies Respond to incidents and complete required reports Assist with weather-related safety procedures and facility closing Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent One year of related experience in athletics, recreation, or customer service preferred CPR/AED/First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain if hired) Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills Schedule Part-time hours based on the athletic schedule, with most shifts occurring evenings and weekends Pay $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience If you're dependable, enjoy working outdoors, and want to make a positive impact on youth sports in our community, we'd love to have you on our team!
