Pay Rate:

$23 and up depending on experience.

Job Summary:

Installs parts, marine hardware, metal trim, seats and windshields on fiberglass and aluminum boats using hand and power tools. Locates and marks position of hardware, seats and other parts according to specifications using a ruler, template or other marking devices. Assists other workers with installing engines, hydraulics and parts related to the marine industry.

Responsibilities:

• Install various parts of equipment on craft
• Test and troubleshoot engines, hydraulics and tubing, pumps and installation of parts related to the marine industry
• Read and understand work instructions, drawings and blueprints
• Use hand and power tools to install parts on the craft
• Observe all safety procedures are being followed in accordance with 40 CFR 262

Education/Experience Requirements:

Minimum of High School diploma or GED Minimum of 5-years' experience in Outfitting or related field Knowledge of mechanical systems, testing and troubleshooting preferred Please add in that Aviation Mechanics, Shipboard Mechanics, or others with general mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.

Required certifications and training:

RCRA/HAZCOM

$23.00 per hour
