Springtree Health & Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke, VA is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Recreation Assistant. Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of social and recreational activities and programs for residents. Maintain accurate and complete records of activities and resident participation. Transport residents to and from activities as needed and assist with the setup and cleanup of activity spaces. Coordinate with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to resident care. Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident. What You Need High school diploma or equivalent. Creative and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in working with the elderly. Knowledge of recreational therapy or related field is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized and detail oriented. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
