Shift:
Full-time 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM all shifts have Rotating weekends and holidays
Joining Us:
Assists director in planning and executing activities to provide therapeutic recreation services designed to improve the psychosocial, physical and mental well-being of residents.
Essential Responsibilities:
With direction from Activities Director implements recreation activities for residents to meet psychosocial needs. Contributes to the effective operations of the department by demonstrating dependability in job performance. Demonstrates commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of Inspirit Senior Living Collaborates with all staff to maintain the safety and security of all who reside, visit, or work in the community.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience:
One year experience in a residential care community
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must be able to read, write, and understand English. Must possess good organizational, written and verbal communications skills. Ability to interact effectively in all contacts. Ability to work independently with little need for direction. Schedule flexibility to accommodate after hour needs of residents. Must have a working knowledge of computers.
Testing:
Pre-placement drug test and TB test required
