10 hours/week (dependent on on-site schedule and season)
Contract:
September 2026
•March 2027 (Opportunity for larger role in 2027)

•6:15 PM Additional remote administrative hours throughout each season About the Role The Appleton Site Manager serves as the local operational leader overseeing Playpen Sports Academy classes while supporting the growth, partnerships, and local outreach for Playgrounder Sports Academy This is a part-time leadership position combining: On-site coaching oversight Staff management Marketing and school partnerships Outreach to local schools, daycares, and other businesses. Community engagement Ownership, initiative, and strong communication skills are essential. Core Responsibilities On-Site Class Leadership Attend all scheduled classes (unless pre-approved absence) Complete 30-minute pre-class setup and 15-minute post-class wrap-up Lead or support classes using established curriculum Ensure a positive, organized, high-energy environment Uphold company standards across all locations
Attendance Policy:
Up to two unpaid excused absences per season. Absences may not occur during the first week of the season. Excess absences may impact compensation or contract renewal. Coach & Volunteer Management Oversee coach recruitment and communication Track attendance, coverage, and staffing needs Provide consistent communication before, during, and after each season School & Community Partnerships Build relationships with local Appleton schools, daycares, and businesses Conduct principal outreach for facility use Strengthen at least one key contact per school Share promotional materials digitally and in print Support in-school presentations when possible Design and distribute promotional materials (templates provided) Share flyers with schools and community organizations
Admin Hours:
3-4 hours/week (varies by enrollment). Weekly workload may fluctuate, but seasonal allocation remains fixed.
Compensation & Growth Opportunities Base Pay:
$20/hour (Up to $25/hour based on experience in leadership, nonprofit operations, or youth sports management).
