Come experience the beauty of spring summer and fall in Appalachia while you zip and climb through beautiful trees and mountains . River Riders Inc, is hiring full and part time adventure guides for the season! We are located in Harpers Ferry, WV and offer opportunities where you can spend your time soaring through the sky and over the river on our ziplines, or climbing through the trees and reaching new heights in the Adventure Park. You will share local history and various forms of wildlife with guests. Everyday is different here at River Riders and we are fortunate to share it with people from all over the world and in all walks of life! Being a guide at River Riders you will gain invaluable knowledge, build new friendships, and have a summer/fall you will always remember. Come join our team and see what new things you can experience. No experience necessary. Training and gear provided for approved candidates. Season runs through October The primary role of aerial guides is to provide all guests with a safe, remarkable experience on the ziplines or at the adventure park.
Job Duties include:
Pre/post trip preparation and clean up Interacting with the guests throughout their trip Learning and navigating the zipline, and adventure park courses. It is essential that guides in this position are personable, entertaining, and have an in-depth understanding of all equipment, Zipline/ Adventure Park routes and other trip offerings, as well as the procedures and processes of each trip. All Guides are expected to contribute to the quality of the experience for guests and aim to create repeating relationships with them.
Qualifications:
friendly, professional, timely, physically able to perform duties, ability to comfortably work at height, completion of guide training course, current Professional Rescuer CPR and First Aid (offered in house).All guides must be able to lift 50 lbs over their head.
