Job Description

Reservationist at Lost Valley Lake Resort Join our team and create memorable guest experiences! Lost Valley Lake Resort is seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Reservationists. If you have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply! Prior experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. As a Reservationist, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and welcoming impression. You'll handle phone calls, manage reservations, and greet guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable start to their stay.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome arriving guests with a positive attitude, smile, and professional appearance. Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately. Provide outstanding customer service, both on the phone and in person, addressing guest inquiries and concerns with enthusiasm and professionalism. Handle guest issues with empathy and resolve them effectively. Process reservations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Follow established procedures for handling cash, credit card transactions, and refunds. Maintain a thorough understanding of resort amenities and services to assist guests effectively. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless guest experiences. • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow directions. Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently. Proficiency in basic computer operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle guest registration paperwork and assign rentals (training provided). Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays (required).

Applicants who have failed a pre-employment screening or have been terminated from Lost Valley Lake Resort are ineligible for consideration 12 months from the date of the incident. Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour

ATTENTION!
!! You MUST be able to work during the day (typically 9am - 6pm, but may vary) and on ALL weekends and holidays. Because this is a resort, we work while people are enjoying their weekend or holiday. This is non-negotiable. Please reply 'Yes' that you are available and understand.
